“A man who wants me to… convince him that I’m worthy of his time just lost my interest.”
Isn’t that what you’re doing too?“If you, little man, wish to be worthy of my attention…”
Seriously, why do you bother getting toasted about guys who exhibit these traits? Say “thanks and good luck.” Unless these traits are, in fact, pandemic which is hard to believe at least in men over the age of thirty.
I’ll confess — and I’ll apply this judgment first of all to myself — that those who resort to online dating do so because they’re not having much luck in their daily interactions, those that might lead to a date. And if not,why not. With the exception of those who live in extremely remote locations or inhabit environments that, unfortunately, are dangerous or otherwise unhealthy.
For my part, I’d love to tell off those average women who set the bar so high that us average guys aren’t good enough to scale it (singing the guys’ version of “Ms. Big Stuff, who do you think you are…”) but that would be silly. People want what they want, and they can want anything they want.
Anyhow, I can’t imagine you’re hurting for decent guys to date. Your requirements, based on what you’re saying here, seem pretty reasonable and down to earth.
Meanwhile, have a listen. And dance along…
