Haunt the Dark

A poem by Laura Huseboe

Cryptic phrases haunt the dark,
Unknown meanings tantalizing us
To pursue their meaning
Regardless of the price we must pay
To understand the meaning.
What price should be paid to know the truth,
What price would be worth losing?
Despise the hidden meaning
Kept from all this day,
Seek the truth and light
Given freely dawn to dusk.
Yearn for understanding of truth,
Bask in the light of knowledge.
Shun the dark misdeeds of man
Conspiring to steal the dawn.
Chase the sun round the world
And spread the joy to all.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
