I don’t think $9 a month is an insignificant amount of money, but I do think comparatively it can end up saving people tons of money: when I was in a worse financial state I used it to substitute cable/any TV, seeing movies in theaters, and sometimes as an alternative to going out with friends or dates. Netflix and chill has saved me from going to expensive bars and restaurants.
