The Cost of Getting Organized
Megan Reynolds

I think you need a specific reason to organize stuff for it to work. We organized our camping gear recently. It was previously stored as a big mess in one of those giant plastic tubs and 2 cardboard moving boxes. Which meant we had to dump out 3 boxes all over the floor every time we wanted to find something. I moved a wire baker’s rack from my kitchen into the camping closet and spent $40 on storage boxes. Now everything is organized in labeled boxes by category (hydration, first aid, cooking, repair kits, etc) and there’s a shelf where tents, sleeping mats and similarly shaped items are stacked neatly. It’s worth it to me because I can find everything I need right away instead of making a huge mess and potentially forgetting supplies because they got lost in the pile.
