Wish Lists Are Very Good
Megan Reynolds

I’m tired of the emotional labor of gift giving. I have to think of gifts for my parents and sibling, which is fine, but I also end up picking all the gifts for husband’s family too. And every member of husband’s family wants me to tell them what to get for him because he is very difficult to shop for. I love picking up spontaneous gifts for people (I know which weird art magazine I randomly found at the book store would delight husband if I bring it home), but it’s hard to do that work for other people. I have to do the work of researching and picking out the specific thing that falls within their price range that he’ll be guaranteed to like and then all they have to do is add it to their Amazon cart. People should know this is difficult, that’s why they don’t want to do it themselves!
