Well written, all around!

I honestly can’t remember the last time I didn’t have at least my phone within my reach, if not more. It stores every detail of my life, from appointments to grocery lists.

But it doesnt just fill in a missing space. For me, I live in a very small community, that is connected on a face to face level but doesn’t always see the world as a bigger picture. Being connected to the world (via the wonders of the internet) provides me with a the opportunity to meet other people. It provides a more valuable social reach than what I am limited to in person. I absolutely adore the technology that lets me not just manage my daily life, but bring new ideas and people into it. I have friends that I’ve never met who are half a world away, I can learn about their lives and culture, in a way not possible without technology.

And I rely on the gadgets to multitask my life: calendars, shopping, cooking, learning, work…its a large part of how I function. It’s not to say I don’t ever put all the technology down and enjoy the real world that’s in front of me, but it is always within reach…. I tend to need to Google quiet a few things in any given day.

You do have an interesting outlook on it. I appreciate your thoughts ☺
