Traveled to Germany on business for the second year in a row. Stayed for the weekend to explore by myself.

A voice memo I recorded and sent to my best friend on my last trip to Munich in August 2018 / The original “song”

Layover in Stockholm / Grabbed a falafel the moment I stepped off the plane in Germany
Monday night. My team and I went to Oktoberfest, which was wild.
Later in the week we went to this boat on top of a bridge that has been converted into indoor/outdoor dining space with various food vendors. I got some amazing vegan Senegalese food!

Over the weekend, my main objectives included A. doing my favorite thing (vintage shopping) and B. going to my favorite places in the city (the river and the cemetery)
This store wasn’t open on Sunday when I found it, but I am determined to go back next time I’m in Munich.
I found myself at the Deutsch Museum which turned out to be very cool.
Del Fiore ice cream / Beautiful sculptures all over the city
Paulaner Biergarten
Somehow got the best seat on the plane on the way home. Look at that leg room!

Here’s a playlist created specifically for wandering around a foreign city alone
