Some of the hottest technology was just rolled out at the Consumer Electronics Show or CES in Las Vegas. The technology of 2017 will bring us closer to virtual reality and robots manage our everyday life. Much of the exciting innovations that were announced this year were debuted last year but will be enhanced for 2017.
Tesla’s Auto-Pilot Software
Back in November, the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk made a game-changing announcement in the world of self-driving cars when he declared that Tesla would roll out new autopilot software that can make independent driving a reality, according to Business Insider. Although Tesla has had autopilot software available on its electric vehicles since 2014, the new and improved program, called Enhanced Autopilot will allow cars to park themselves. The previous version was limited to automatically steering and lane changing. Tesla models X, S and Model 3, which will come out later this year, will be equipped with the new driverless hardware. As a demonstration of the technology, By the end of 2017, Tesla plans to have a Tesla vehicle will drive itself across the country from Los Angeles to New York.
For the future, we can expect to see more autonomous driving automobiles on the road. In fact, taking the lead from Tesla, Hyundai just announced at this year’s CES that it’s Ionic will also have autonomous capabilities in 2017.

What this means is that if you want to simulate a game of baseball, you can use an actual baseball bat as a controller, rather than a bulky VR controller. The HTC Vive Tracker is designed to be used with the HTC Vive System, which is HTC’s VR system that debuted in 2016.
