The Power of (Little) Giving

The Edelman Little Give 2012 is upon us, and once again we’re rolling up our sleeves for some fantastic new organizations. This year’s theme of hunger and poverty has opened the doors to new charities in our local communities — and they’ve given us some amazing challenges!

On May 31st, the Edelman Vancouver and Calgary offices kicked off The Little Give by partnering with four YWCA programs, which provide services that help women and their families in impoverished neighbourhoods improve the quality of their lives. From helping to build a garden to moving furniture, cleaning playgrounds and serving breakfasts, our West Coast offices put some much-needed elbow grease into doing big chores and heavy lifting so that the caregivers can do their very important jobs on the front lines.

On June 14th, the Edelman Toronto and Montreal offices will each host their annual Little Give, working with nine charitable organizations, over 48 hours, with more than 100 participants pitching in. And, as we do, Edelman will be in full communications force — so be sure to check our progress on Facebook, our blog and by following us on Twitter at #littlegiveTO, #littlegiveMtl and #LePetitGeste.
