Commercial Legal Counsel — Mid Level

We are looking for a mid-level lawyer to report to the Head of Legal Commercial Operations Latam to provide special and focused legal support on strategic business to corporate, production plants, and commercial legal matters of the Company, including business with private and public customers. Position Responsibilities:

• Advises businesses on commercial issues, helping with drafting, negotiation, and certain support for the managing of contracts.
• Advises, draft, support negotiation and coordinate the final draft of contracts to support the business on Purchase, Bundle, Services, and all types of contracts.
• Assists actively in business transactions making sure that are under the legal framework.
• Perform research focusing on the legal matters of a business transaction.
• Prepare commercial reports and draft other paperwork associated with business agreements.
• Provide and coordinates litigation reports with external lawyers.

Requirements & Skills:

• 6+ years of commercial contracts experience.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English and Spanish
• Significant experience with industrial, services, and governmental agreements is required.
• Preferred: experience with the health social security of Mexico.
• Ability to provide clear guidance on complex and sensitive issues with an appropriate sense of commercial risk.
• Team contributor with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Prior experience as an in-house lawyer with a major company with is strongly preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing.
• Outstanding references.
