‘Channel Orange’ Remains Relevant 7 Years Later

This past week marks 7 years since the iconic Frank Ocean album, Channel Orange, was released. Since its debut on July 10, 2012, it has maintained its status as one of the most memorable albums of the twenty-first century. People and even companies have been posting about the album’s anniversary all of social media. Complex Music, a prominent entertainment/music news company, made a tribute post on twitter with the statement, “7 years ago, Frank Ocean didn’t just drop ‘Channel Orange’ — he redefined R&B music.” And they aren’t the only ones who found it worth while to dedicate a post to share with the world.
