Hi — I use the term “bro” in a light-hearted way, much like the Singularity Bros podcast, or just the colloquial “tech bros,” for a goofy juxtaposition with the intellectual nature of the movement. It’s not meant in the draconian, mean way you describe — sorry if you took it that way. The internet has many, many articles about what basic income is, so I took a cultural approach — where the advocates come from, and why they’re in favor of the policy. The story presents many arguments and studies in favor of basic income from the people who are leading the movement.
