I have more evidence for Obi’s case.
- Mos says “The person you’re waiting for is never coming back. But there is still one you can go to” or something like that to which Rey replies “Luke”. This means that the person she was waiting for couldn’t be Han OR Luke because they both met her. (Luke not at that point, but still)
- The cape thing Han and Chewy dealt with on base. When Obi died, Vader only found his cape.
- When Kylo tried to get the saber and Rey forced it to herself instead. When Qui Gon was killed by Darth Maul, Obi forced Qui’s saber to himself. Also the parallel of two “ Jedis” fighting the red saber. The first to make contact was severely injured/killed leaving the second to fight. The second had been held back initially. Obi by a force field, Rey by being unconscious.
- R2D2 awoke when Rey came back to base. One article uses this as support for Luke, BUT R2D2 initially belonged to Obi wan.
