9 Reasons Why Making Assumptions is Dangerous
Sarah Blick

I really agree with this. However, sometimes we’re told to not ask questions. E.g. in my case, managers @ work have instructed me to produce results and feedback but refuse to entertain questions… And/or remain absent for long periods of time so that I have to go only on what I know (and I am prohibited from disturbing others I’d really like to ask & who probably would have valuable information or insight to add) in order to complete tasks. Sometimes I ask questions anyway, but this is met with stern disapproval. When “allowed”, I ask a LOT of questions because i really like to be equipped with full information. But has anyone got any further advice about how to not make assumptions when there’s nothing else to go on..?
