Life Simulation games continue with a new upcoming game trailer released
If you are a fan of life simulation games, RPG games and farm animals, then this game might start off your new year. The new upcoming RPG on PC had officially released their trailer on November 2021, ready to be launched soon for the new year of 2022.
The Ranchers officially made themselves known on YouTube, Steam and on their official website. Although the released date is yet to be announced, views on the game, so far, have been positive and excited to see more. The Ranchers is a life-simulation game with an open world for 1–4 players. Players can raise animals, grow crops, craft machines, build houses and explore the world, where dangerous monsters are kept within the mines. Players can earn the villagers’ respect, while also finding love and starting a family.
From the trailer and screenshots of the gameplay, The Ranchers can be seen as a mix of The Sims and Animal Crossing put together from the characters, environment and gameplay. The gameplay is shown to be from bird’s-eye-view, where the camera is more zoomed out than other life-simulation games, apart from cut-scenes or when speaking to villagers during missions. The animation of the characters, animals and items are cute and more cartoon than real-life, though at the same time isn’t a bad idea.
What’s more interesting about The Ranchers is that they’ve announced joining on Kickstarter in Paris, France. On their website, they explain more about Kickstarter and reveal different roles for those who want to explore their passion and talent in marketing and gaming. Their website also explains more about the game in general, revealing screenshots of the gameplay and what is there to expect.
For someone who loves life simulation and is a fan of The Sims, this game is definitely in my interest and I, for one, am excited to see how this game develops in the future. What do you guys think?
