$300 Billion: CMS Cardiac Bundle by the Numbers

CMS wants better care at a lower cost. That doesn’t sound like the easiest task, but they’ve offered a game plan for cardiac care that shows how one could lead to the other. The idea is that if hospitals work together with physicians and other providers (like SNFs), then the result will be heart attack and bypass patients experiencing fewer costly complications, lower rates of hospital readmission, and faster recovery times, too.
