Hi, I'm Lawson.

I've been writing on Medium since 2021. I have consistently been recognized as a top writer on the topics of politics, government, and history.

Some of my work has gone viral, such as my article examining possible motives for Trump hoarding classified documents, which wound up on the front page of The Drudge Report. Some of my other most popular work has included: An Authoritative Debunking of GOP Economics, Yes, Trump is Actually More Insane Than Even His Fiercest Critics Feared, and Why Did Trump Install His Loyalists at the Pentagon Before the Capitol Attack?

Education is power, and it's also a privilege. I feel a duty to use mine to help people understand and navigate complex topics. My personal and educational background allows me to offer an informed and nuanced perspective on critical issues through the lens of politics, history, and the law.

With the proliferation of technology and social media, it has become more difficult for people to differentiate between truth and fiction. My work aims to help navigate this divide by providing an informed dissection of the issues through the lens of politics, history, and the law.

I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University in 2019. Following my undergraduate degree, I entered graduate school and earned a Master of Arts in History from Arizona State University in 2021.

While in graduate school, I worked as a graduate fellow and an intern on A Journal of the Plague Year, a collaborative curatorial project between multiple universities documenting the real-time impact of COVID-19 on communities worldwide. In particular, I focused on the stories of how the pandemic impacted LGBTQ+ individuals and communities.

While in the history graduate program, I was drawn to critical historical topics with significant parallels with echoes of current events. I wrote two seminal research papers. The first examined public opinion and propaganda in Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945. And the second examined the phenomenon of Holocaust and Armenian genocide denialism.

Following graduation with my MA in 2021, I began school at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at The University of Utah. I graduated with my Master of Legal Studies degree in 2022.

I work in the non-profit legal sector and write articles in my spare time. I hope you will follow along with my work as we traverse some of the most critical issues of our time.
