Conference Scholarship Available for Financial Hardship

A generous anonymous donor is offering a scholarship for someone who would like to attend the Layers conference in San Francisco.

The requirements are as follows:

• You must have significant financial need, and would otherwise not be able to attend Layers.

• You are able to make accommodations to travel to and stay in San Francisco June 13–15

• You are currently studying to become a designer or developer, whether at school or in your spare time.

If you fit all of these requirements, please send us a short essay telling us about yourself. What are you doing right now? What is your dream job? What excites you most about coming to Layers? We don’t ask for supporting documentation/proof that you cannot afford to attend the conference; just make note of why you are in need of this scholarship financially.

There is currently one spot available for this scholarship. Please send your applications to scholarships@bringyourlayers.com by Friday, May 13th.

All are welcome to apply to this scholarship as long as the requirements are met. We don’t care who you are, where you’re from, what you did, as long as you love design*
