The Easy and Secure Gateway to DeFi Yields
We’ve got a confession to make. We’re kind of enjoying the bear market.
Chasing DeFi yields last year was stressful. New projects every week, new chains every month. Hacks, rugs, gas fees… urgh the gas fees.
This year we’ve found peace to reflect. One thing we wondered was why DeFi never reached mass adoption even at the top of the market. The answer is pretty obvious to us.
It’s too complicated and too risky.
So, we thought, aren’t we the right team to do something about this? We’re a group of risk management professionals working in cybersecurity and insurtech. Can’t we build a platform to make yield chasing easy and secure?
So that’s what we did.
We’re excited to announce LazyOtter,
A new-gen yield aggregator that is both user-friendly and secure.
It’s our strong belief that DeFi can be different this time round. No more stressed-out squirrels rushing from protocol to protocol, getting hacked or losing keys. Let’s be otters instead, kicking back in the stream on our rafts, saving time and energy for the things in life that really matter.
LazyOtter’s Key Features
LazyOtter’s idea is simple. We embed risk management tools in yield farming strategies so that our community can easily optimize yields and manage risks with just a few clicks.
LazyOtter comprises three key features:
Automated Vaults
Run carefully crafted strategies powered by smart contracts to allocate, reinvest and rebalance your funds as well as diversify risks automatically. Just deposit and the smart contracts will do the rest.
Protection Fund
An emergency fund that protects users from financial losses due to 3rd party protocol hacks. The beauty is you don’t need to pay anything upfront. The fund is built up by taking a small fraction of the yields generated through the automated vaults.
Fund Recovery
A market-first decentralized solution to pass on your wealth to your beneficiaries if the unexpected happens. While your wealth is safeguarded, it continues to generate yields from the automated vaults.

Our vision is to make DeFi easy and safe to use so that everyone can participate. We believe LazyOtter’s focus on security and accessibility is the key to unlock mass DeFi adoption.
The protocol is scheduled to launch this year, and the core smart contract is already on the way to auditing. We will first roll out stablecoin vaults as well as the fund recovery mechanism. Other token vaults and risk management features will come next. Our TGE is anticipated for the first half of 2023. We also plan to introduce vote-escrowed Token and gauge voting next year.
