I think that you said it well in your last paragraph, that overwhelming feeling of a new environment. We’ve all been there with a new job and new people associated with new personalities and ticks to be aware of. Another interesting point you brought up was that its scary and he was trying to find his way. The main character never says anything and we just have to imagine how overwhelming and stressful that work scenario must be. I appreciated the sort of dark humor the story had as well. The over exaggerated serial killers who worked there and the hauntings. I thought it was a good read.
