I agree! I think until you know who you are, you''ll be searching for yourself in everyone else. And then you'll externalize emotions and experiences that you should process on your own. Your external world and the people in it will reflect whatever is inside: whether it is fears and insecurities or love and gratitude. Connections with others will only be able to heal your loneliness if they come from a place of genuine interest and curiosity, which you can only get to once you've accepted yourself first.
