Maybe you don’t understand. Not everyone especially those born at home in the early 1900s don’t have access to a birth certificate. They opened their bank account before all the need for ID.

This is the type of person who is hurt by the ID laws.

Let me explain this very simply. Florida was one of the 1st state with a voter ID law and their law hasn’t been a problem like laws in Wisconsin and other states that require a very specific ID. Florida takes the following: Florida Driver’s Licence, Florida Identification Card from DHSMV, Neighborhood Association ID, Pubic Assistance ID, Retirement Center ID, Debit or Credit card, US Passport, Military ID, Student lD, US Veteran’s Affair Health ID, Licence to carry a concealed weapon or firearm or Employee ID card.

The states that have created laws since ’10 are asking for 1 ID and only 1 ID and it has disfranchised voters. To ignore that is being ignorant.
