I just don’t buy that marketing sh*t. You have some really nice graphs, which just really give us no information at all. If you want to be open about this, give us transparency and not just a nice graph from your PR manager.

I really liked Ulysses for what it was, a nice Markdown Editor with a good UI and an awesome file system. Thats it. And now you are telling me I should pay 40$ a year for this? Lets add some perspective, Office costs around 70$, but offers a hole lot more. I am just not willing to pay that for this app.

As I understand it, you built a great app and now want a steady money stream from it without putting much effort in it anymore. I don’t believe that: We will now add all awesome features you asked for in the past!

You are just putting the financial risk on the customer. We take the full risk if you don’t deliver what you promised us. And I don’t really trust you, why should you bring us the long awaited features now?!?

It is true, customers don’t just pay for a useless update. This is reality, if there is no value added, why should I pay for it?

In the end it is the decision of everyone if they want to pay for that or not. I will not. Byebye
