It’s a myth… If your passwords are stored and hashed correctly there is no need to renew them as long as your hash was not compromised, there is absolutely need for that. Changing them as a precaution to potential hacks/leaks is not really useful.

As said, a password generated from a Password Manager is usually extremely strong and not crackable in a reasonable amount of time (Brute Force takes forever). This means, if you change your password regularly and the leak is only noticed later, there is absolutely no chance your password could have been cracked in this time. Therefor you can save your time as it adds no security to change them regularly…
