Start sharing your referral link and make $2.27/month per membership
Once you’re accepted into the Medium Partner Program, you will get access to your membership referral link.
The Medium membership referral link allows you to refer others to sign up for a Medium membership. If they join the Medium membership then you make a referral commission every month.
Currently you can make $2.27/month per membership on a recurring basis as long as the reader’s membership plan is active and you remain in the Partner Program.
For example: If you have 100 people click your referral link and sign up for a Medium membership you will make $227 EVERY MONTH! (100 x $2.27)
Although making money off of Medium article reads is amazing, you gotta love the recurring monthly residuals of membership sign ups.
I love passive income! Do the work once and get paid for doing it over and over and over again.

Steps on how to find your Medium Referral Link
Click on your profile picture at the top right of the screen
Click on “Settings”
Click under the heading “Publishing”
Scroll down to the bottom, and under the heading “Promote Medium Memberships,” click on “Share your membership referral page.”
This is what my referral link looks like. Click on “Become a member”
OR!!! A much easier way to get your Medium referral link
(you’re going to hate me for this since you just went through all that effort haha)
Insert your username in this link where it says “username”, https://medium.com/@username/membership
for example, my referral link is https://medium.com/@leah.elizzzabeth/membership
Where to share your referral link
- Share your referral link in your profile bio.
- Share your referral link at the bottom of every article you publish.
- Share your referral link on all your social media.
- Make YouTube video’s of your experience or tips on Medium and share your referral link in the video’s description.
