The Best All-Star Cheerleading Routines of All -Time

1. Cheer Extreme Senior Elite 2013: Precision and Power Senior Elite, from Cheer Extreme in Kernersville, NC present a flashy, yet undeniably clean routine at the 2013 Cheerleading Worlds. Though a perfect routine left them in second place after the first day of competition, they practiced that night and presented a routine with even higher difficulty for day two. This new routine, including added tumbling passes, wowed the audience and judges, as no one was expecting it. The team showcased their adaptability, resilience, and perseverance, which led them to take home the World Championship title.
2. Stingray’s Allstars Orange 2022: Dynamic Energy and Unmatched Showmanship Orange, from Stingrays’s Allstars in Marietta, Georgia performed a precise, dynamic routine, featuring an incredible amount of difficulty and beautiful execution. The showmanship of the athletes created an obvious presence on stage. Their Cheerleading Worlds Day two routine, was the perfect combination of skill-filled and confidently executed, and led them to victory. This victory was extra special as it made them back-to-back world champions in one of the most difficult divisions of all-star cheerleading, Large All-Girl Senior Level 6.
3. Cheer Extreme SSX 2021: Passion, Execution, and Synchronization: At one of the most intimidating competitions in cheerleading, NCA Dallas, Cheer Extreme Raliegh’s SSX hit an incredible routine. The routine consisted of beautiful choreography, difficult stunts, and stunningly executed tumbling. The team did not let the intimidating energy of performing in a large arena, filled to the brim with fans and fellow cheerleaders shake them. The girls left everything out on the competition floor and it was undeniable they were going to take home gold in their division. The glory of this routine was heightened when the team won “grand” with it, meaning they scored the highest out of every other worlds-eligible team at the competition, a huge accomplishment.
4. Top Gun All-stars TGLC 2013: Synchronized Excellence This large, level 6 co-ed team from Top Gun All-stars in Florida competed the entire season in a division full of talent. The routine they presented on day 2 of the Cheerleading Worlds was beyond incredible. Their stunts were notably solid, with beautiful technique and unwavering confidence. All of these elements were presented with wonderful showmanship and a high level of performance, drawing the audience into their every move and ultimately made them champions.
5. World Cup Shooting Stars 2022: Innovative Choreography Takes Center Stage The Shooting Stars from World Cup All-stars from New Jersey had not had the best season leading up to the Cheerleading Worlds. However, the routine they put on the floor on day two was mesmerizing. They exuded top notch performance, perfectly showing off the creativity behind their “Hollywood” themed routine. Each element was creatively choreographed to show this theme and the dance was the icing on the cake. Though this beautiful routine did not take home the gold, it was still a remarkable piece of cheer history.

The world of all-star cheerleading has a long history, full of many talented teams and athletes. Therefore it is difficult to narrow it down to just five of the all-time best. However, these routines are undeniably great and have influenced the cheer world that we know today as athletes continue to push the limits and strive to be great.
