Lately I’ve been asking myself a question. How do I cultivate my creativity? The older I get, the more I feel I lose. Where do I find ideas?
When we are little so much is possible. We look at the world and we think: why not? Who says its so? Why? We haven’t yet learned to take the limits as solid and immoveable. Somewhere along the way we stop asking those questions. Our world’s become smaller. The more we control, the less room for possibility there is. When we are young the entire world is beyond our control. Our dreams aren’t limited by disappointment or squelched by experience.
The answer I’ve found to my question is to go back to when the world was larger and anything was possible. To go back to before we found limits and closed doors. Ask yourself: why not? Try something. Because when we are young, we haven’t learned how to fail yet.
