“Do you think you know more than me?” “No, but Siri Does!”

How did you get on with last weeks challenge?

I tried it out on one of the school teachers, commenting on how nice she looked, because well, she did look nice, and normally I would just think this and not say anything. Do you know what it really cheered her up as she had been away on a school trip and said she was really tired but I had made her feel much better… Reply and let me know if you tried it and what happened.

Today I thought I would tell you about Siri, you know the voice on apple iphones that you can ask any question too.

Last summer we were on holiday staying in Cornwall, A stunning place if you’ve never been I would definately recommend a visit. Anyway, Grace was being a bit cheeky as she often is and I had stormed back into the Caravan thinking what will she be like at 14yrs old lol! Col (my fiancé) shouts outside “What you doing talking to your mum like that? Do you think you know more than your mum?” To this Grace replies “No, but Siri does”…. Well I couldn’t stop laughing at that..

Ever since if I feel confused and under pressure to answer one of their universal questions that could be anything from

“Mummy, why didn’t God make purple and green people” to
“What comes after a trillion?”

I can hand over to Siri

Harvey says Siri is a man who lives in America and spends all day in bed.

Don’t be overwhelmed by the questions your kids throw at you, and don’t for a second doubt you aren’t being a good mum because you don’t know the answers.

The fact is your kids love you more than anything and you can tell them that little green men control the heated water for your bath tub and that they live inside the traffic lights controlling the red, amber and green buttons. Which is what my mum opted for by the way!

It doesn’t matter, make the most of every moment of their inquisitive minds, have fun and there is always Siri from America to help you out if need be.
