Where DO I Start? — Part 2

Did you catch part 1? I asked you to come up with one goal and a deadline to reach that goal… If not you can find it here.

In this 2nd blog, I’m going to tell you what to do next.

For example, if your goal is to drop a dress size by the time you go on holiday in 3 months time, you can break this goal down further by being a little more accurate. You want to loose 12lb in 12 weeks for example would be 1lb per week. This broken down feels more achievable already.

Now the next step is to write down a plan of how you are going to do this for example:

1. Do a 12 HIIT workout 5 days per week

2. Plan out your meals and only buy what you need for those meals from the shops

3. Drink at lest 2L water per day

4. Don’t eat after 7pm

These are just examples but do you see what I mean.

You have now created a way of achieving the goal you made in part 1.

Now here is what Client number 2 had to say after finishing their 6 week program and loosing a total of 10cm and 7lb.

“I felt really unmotivated and that I’d gotten lazy. I know what to do, I’ve delivered healthy lifestyle workshops…eat less, move more, but wasn’t really putting it into practice. I had a hen do and wedding coming up, both abroad and wanted to get in shape ready for those but really needed a boost. At the start of the year, my weight was the biggest I’ve been (not pregnant). I’d ironically lost all my baby weight quite quickly but put it back on around my stomach in the last 12 months.”

“My highlights are that I feel more energised and motivated to get up and do the exercise sessions at home; even at the weekends. I’ve gotten up early or stayed up an extra half hour to get them in. I haven’t been totally stuck to the programme as work and life has got in the way. It I have tried to fit in the ones I’ve missed on other days. One week I missed my LBT class and was stressed out with personal things so as it was a nice evening I went for a run instead and ended up doing a 6k run with the last 2.5km non stop running. People have even said that they can tell I’ve lost weight.”

“I feel more motivated and finding that my clothes are not fitting me anymore, so I’ve definitely come down a dress size and feel more toned up all over, even though there is still flab on my stomach, I can feel there are muscles under there somewhere! Since January I’ve actually lost 15lbs, and 6/7 of those have been in the last 6 weeks whilst on his programme.”
