How to transfer from Binance ️to Leap wallet?

What is Leap? Leap is a non-custodial wallet for Terra. It is the simplest & safest way to store, send, swap, and stake tokens on the Terra blockchain.

You may be curious about how to transfer your LUNA or UST to Leap wallet once you purchase it on Binance.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to accomplish it:

Get the address of your Leap wallet
Go to Binance and log in to your account
Hover to the “Wallet” section and click on “Fiat and Spot” on Binance
Search LUNA/UST and click on withdraw for the cryptocurrency you wish to withdraw
Fill in the required transaction details to complete the transaction

Get the address of your Leap wallet

The first thing you need is your Leap wallet address.

Open the Leap extension and log in to your account to get the address.

You will see your wallet address below your wallet name; click on the address to copy it.

If you don’t have a Leap wallet, install Leap. And create a wallet or import your existing wallet to Leap. Follow the process mentioned above to get the wallet address.

Go to Binance and log in to your account.

Once you have the wallet address, log in to your Binance account.

Make sure you log in to the Binance account from where you want to withdraw cryptocurrency.

Hover to the “Wallet” section on Binance

Once you have logged in to your Binance account, look for the Wallet section.

Move your cursor to the Wallet section and click on Fiat and Spot for Deposit and Withdraw of your cryptocurrency.

Search LUNA/UST & click on withdraw

Once on the Fiat and Spot section, search for LUNA and select the withdraw option.

Alternatively, you can search for UST if you wish to withdraw UST too.

Fill in the required transaction details

Moving forward to the next page, you will need to enter the required details.

First, enter the Leap wallet address you copied. Binance will automatically match your wallet address to the network you will be using to withdraw.

Once the network matches, you will see the pop-up. The pop-up says the selected network support MEMO. Please note that Binance will transfer your funds safely to Leap wallet WITHOUT filling in the MEMO. You can leave this field empty.

Fill in the amount you wish to transfer and click on withdraw. You can check the withdrawals in your recent withdrawal tab in Binance.

Once the transaction is processed, you should receive LUNA/UST in your Leap wallet.

How to transfer funds from Leap wallet to Binance:

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to transfer your LUNA or UST from Leap wallet to Binance:

Log in to your Binance account
Hover to ‘Wallet’ and click on the ‘Fiat and Spot’ option
Search LUNA/UST and click on deposit for the cryptocurrency you wish to withdraw
On the next page, choose the deposit network, i.e., Luna Terra
On confirming the network, you will be able to see the Binance deposit wallet address and MEMO; click to copy your Binance deposit wallet address and MEMO
Open your Leap wallet and click on send
.Enter the deposit address you copied, the amount you wish to transfer, and the MEMO (Note: Filling up of MEMO is compulsory)

You must input both the correct deposit wallet address and MEMO when creating the transaction in order to transfer the tokens successfully to your Binance account.

Once the transaction is processed, you should receive LUNA/UST in your Binance account.

While transferring from Binance to Leap, filling MEMO is optional.
But if you are transferring from Leap to Binance, filling up MEMO is compulsory.

The transaction confirmation time varies depending on the blockchain and its current network traffic; in case of any errors, contact the Binance support immediately.
