It is unquestionably accepted that philosophy is built upon the pursuit of truth. However, when we look at the lives of philosophers, we see that they are actually escaping from the truth.

The superficial world that non-philosophers live in is not as easy for everyone to cope with. Those who cannot cope with these superficial matters become philosophers and decide to delve into the depths.

For instance, let’s consider someone who is penniless and has no hope of making money. Philosophy provides a beautiful escape for these individuals, and when they delve deep, they find opposing arguments to support themselves.

  • Money steals our humanity.
  • Life should not be consumed by chasing money.
  • Money is just a piece of paper.
  • Let’s become communists.

Things of this kind. Philosophers engage in the philosophy of things they cannot access in superficial reality. They delve into the depths of the subject and distort the truth in their favor. However, in the dimensions we underestimate as superficial, everything is much clearer than in the depths.
