Before you enroll in an online course, there is something you should know

Not all courses are good, and not all courses are bad!

Although there are several courses out there, finding a good one is not an easy job. Many people, especially new ones take several courses or watch endless tutorial videos but don’t get anywhere.

The secrete is
Always choose a course that teaches you how to use documentation or reference documentation.

Many instructors chew everything into their heads and pour it out without referencing documentation. Some have more than one screen and look at another screen and copy code as they teach online without showing you how they get there.

The tutorial will be good, but when it’s time to build something, you just code along. It’s hard to do things differently.

But the good courses reference documentation. You can reference the documentation all the time. If it is updated you can update the code accordingly.

So the takeaway is this
Documentation is a developer’s best friend. Learn to love and use it. This is a secret!

Enjoy coding!!
