ATS is a tool used by employers to automate and streamline the process of scanning CVs. ATS will scan your CV for specific keywords, criteria and qualifications. Usually a score or percentage is assigned, which determines if the CV is rejected or successful. This may be why some applicants have reported being rejected a few hours after applying.

To ensure you pass the ATS screening ensure that your CV is in a simple format and include key words from the job description. Your CV should be tailored specifically for the Cabin Crew role and the criteria outlined in the job description. Be sure to avoid images and special characters.

There are many tools online that will provide an ATS scan with your CV against the job description of the role that you are applying for such as Skillsyncer and CVjury to name a few.

4. Check your CV for spelling mistakes

You can use a spellchecking tool such as Grammarly or use the built in spelling checking tools in your document software. Ensuring that your application and CV are free of spelling mistakes!
