Somewhere a consumer chose to support a company that puts shareholders in front of customers.

Some time, long ago… Or maybe they supported the company before it went evil and they never reevaluated whether they should continue supporting the company.

Some consumer also invested in said company and was excited to receive cash in dividends or options. They never stopped to ask why they were being put first.

The result of a company’s behavior is almost always decided by the interaction between the company and the consumers.

And even if you come up with a long list that says otherwise, it is most certainly true when it comes to software and social media.
