Lee Harbert is a San Francisco, CA based senior executive with extensive experience in new business development, business planning, sales management, and financial services. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and general security licenses — 7, 24, and 63. At present, he is working with Stewart Automotive Group, a new vehicle franchise for Chevrolet, Cadillac, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram, at present. At this group, he is serving as an Internet/Fleet/Commercial Sales Manager FCA, and has an array of responsibilities. He has successfully implemented go to market strategies that resulted in 46% new business growth and his individual sales performance was in top 20% of annual auto units sold in the US.
In addition to Stewart Automotive Group, Lee Harbert is also working with Griffith & Associates LLC of San Francisco, CA since 2003. He has played a key role in the growth & success of the company. He advised CEO to develop marketing strategies for new fund product for private clients, develop strategy to acquire/brand & launch mutual funds for 401(K) plan sponsors, and marketed private equity investment in document storage technology start-up to institutional investors. In addition, he also launched a new business strategy to take advantage of capital structure expertise to buy and package bonds for enhanced investment returns (raised $250M).
Prior to this, he has worked with Barclays Global Investors (BlackRock) for four years i.e. from 1998 till 2002. He successfully developed & implemented go to market strategies that was influential in achieving 40% compounded rate of new revenue growth, launched new targeted investment funds, and selected/hired a high performance team of business development & client service officers.
From 1996 to 1998, Lee Harbert served the position of Senior Vice President at Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of asset management & support services for the defined contribution market. He oversaw complete transaction of the business, and achieved 25% improvement in operating margins, 12% improvement in market share, & 45% improvement in revenue growth. While working with the Bank of America, Global Securities Services as a Senior Vice President/Division Head/M&A, he completed transformation of the wholesale banking business, which was provided through strategic acquisitions.
Other than the companies mentioned above, his professional career also include Vice President at Croker National Bank (from 1980 to 1986), Assistant Treasurer at Advanced Mortgage Corporation (from 1979 to 1980).
