Film _Sequence : ‘The Central station’

This video has been filmed at Central station to present active lives of the city. I have chosen the central Station where all hectic people are gathered. This film was originally inspired by the video titled ‘The Man with the Movie Camera (1929)’. During the first phase of the film, the director rapidly presented the film in chronological order by editing the each progress between 3 and 4 seconds, from the preparation for the beginning of the show, in the theater. Additionally, it also expressed the symbolic objects by closing them up intermittently; the chandelier indirectly tells us that the show will begin soon.

the chronological flows in the station are narrated. For instance, passengers firstly arrived at the station to purchase the ticket and tap the travel ticket to proceed to the platforms to get to their destinations. I also included few markable points of views: Vending machines and Public telephones in the middle of the sequence. To show the changes in time, a huge sized clock has been inserted in the film.(image1)
Additionally, the fast pace of speedy background music and video footage were added to express the speed of the progress what Dziga Vertove used in his film; edited the film at a short interval.
