1. JayBird Reign activity tracker
Scheduled to release this summer, JayBird is a wristband that tracks the wearers every move. And when we say “every move,” we mean it. It is capable of identifying different exercises as the user performs them and provides heart rate data to determine activity and rest levels. It even tracks your sleep. It is available for iOS, Android and as a Web app.
2. Ibitz family activity tracker by GeoPalz
This one is designed for parents who want to keep their kids as active as they are. The Ibitz family activity tracker comes with colorful designs and modern tech appeal that will appeal to kids. The gadget clips to an article of clothing and syncs with iOS through Bluetooth 4.0. Parents can set up rewards for their kids that are tied to their tracked activity levels. The kids version costs $35, while the adult version costs $50.
3. Sensoria smart shirt and smart socks
Startup Sensoria has created activity progress trackers that actually function as workout apparel. The user wears the products during a workout and the socks and shirt can communicate with a smartphone app to track things such as distance, speed, calories burned, and even weight distribution during a walk or run. The shirt also features a heart rate monitor that feeds stats to your app.
