Hillary was not simply the wife of the president. She played an active role in his administration. She had an office in the white house. She didn’t just campaign for her husband. She worked on legislation and met with members of congress. She worked on a healthcare bill and took single payer off the table, choosing instead to work with big pharma and the insurance industry. Her bill failed because she did not work with the grassroots advocates for single payer. She also defended Bill when he was clearly lying about allegations of sexual misconduct, working actively to discredit women who stood up to him.

Sanders shouldn’t have voted for the bill either. His track record is better, but he isn’t perfect. Also, he opposes any restrictions on abortion rights. Hillary is willing to limit late term abortion. This is not a feminist position.
