Can ‘respecting conservatism’ get us anywhere? In 2008, we saw that bipartisan unity will not work for America. Obama wanted to unite America as well as making effort to respect the GOP through respecting conservatism, yet it failed spectacularly, with Republicans refusing to work with Obama, in an attempt to make him a one term president. Basically, respecting conservatism will do nothing until conservatives will respect liberals.
