We Should Start Asking For Stuff
Eden Dranger

I LOVED THIS. It’s so scary to “put yourself out there” and “be that annoying kid” or whatever, but it really works out for the best. If you don’t try, and if you don’t ask for help, you’re not going to get anything done.

And anyway, if someone doesn’t want to give any of their time or energy to help me, they should just say so. If they don’t want me to have their last slice of pizza (or HBO password), then they can tell me that.

It’s the other person’s job to say no if that’s how they feel. If they say yes when they meant no, that’s on them. That’s not on me.

So I’m with you on this. I’m going to ask for the help I need to get where I want to be, regardless of what others think.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
