Are You Also a Kanban Team Squeezed into Scrum?

Is it possible for a group of unhappy people forced to do Scrum to turn themselves into a highly self-motivated, energized, and ideating Kanban team in 30 minutes? — As an agile advisor, I’ve seen many agile teams that were happy to go from a Command and Control’ish matrix organization to a Scrum set-up. If you could only ask one question from your Scrum Team, which one would be the most powerful?

You may ask this powerful question next time you wonder if your Scrum Team will be able to deliver value in each Sprint. — I often ask one particular question to Scrum Teams who are in trouble. Stop sub-optimizing. Invite — don’t impose Scrum on teams.

Sub-optimizing is becoming an excuse for not reaching your company’s potential. And imposition kills motivation. — Suddenly ‘agile’ boomed in the industry. It’s only a few years back that ‘every’ company went agile. Or so they said. The companies. Their managers. Boom! We’re Agile. They believed it. But hadn’t yet noticed the black smoke. Maybe companies trust they’re agile because they have trained a lot of…

5. I am not sure that "My dear Scrum Masters.." is recommended by the editors as an expression to be used. I could be wrong, however. Maybe you could write "I invite all Scrum Masters to make this your habit."

4. I think there is a typo here "As different people bring out a complete different idea of approaching a problem *and* a solution, and a team works best when all these differences are accepted". There is something wrong with the wording... maybe the 'and' (I've marked it with *and*) is the problem? Hard to know.

3. you use the term 'pattern' somehow differently than I do when working with e.g. Scrum Patterns... here a pattern is "a solution to a problem in a certain context". Just a not on it... I would suggest you pick a different term, just to go safe here.

2. No matter that I agree with you on the following "We need to identify and make sure such differences do to not matter when teams work together. " it is a fact that *relations* mean the world to us when cooperating in teams. E.g. when using Self-selection during forming a new team, people mainly choose to be a team where they feel comfortable with the others. Just a thought.
