Fred at AVC hits it on the nail:

“This is the future for all of us, as I’ve stated more than a few times on this blog. When writing emails, assume they are going to end up on a site like [Wikileaks]. Because they will.”

The world we live in is trending towards one where online privacy is no more than an ideal wish. If you are worried an unintended recipient might see it, don’t publish in the first place. Treat each email as if they were public.

That’s actually liberating. Hopefully, it’ll make us all better communicators. Maybe there will be less “jerk” emails, when people see that their private aggressive comments can become immortalized for all to see.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
