As a PhD student, integrating Zotero with Obsidian has become indispensable for managing my research workflow efficiently. The seamless integration allows me to effortlessly organize, annotate, and cite my academic sources directly within Obsidian. By leveraging the Zotero plugin, I can quickly access my reference library, import citations, and link them to my notes, enhancing the coherence and depth of my research. This synergy between Zotero and Obsidian not only streamlines my literature review process but also enables me to create robust, interconnected knowledge graphs that facilitate deeper insights and more impactful research outcomes.

There are plenty of setup guides out there, so I want to only share some new insights that I missed on the stuff I found, hopefully saving you from the research effort here. Below you can find my personal template for integrating Zotero papers to Obsidian.
