Dear Google, You Shouldn’t Fire Someone for Advancing Theories that Supplement Feminist Dogma

Many feminists hold that anytime women are seemingly disadvantaged this is due to discrimination against women by men.

For example when less women than men work in STEM fields this is believed to be a consequence of discrimination and culturally perpetuated negative stereotypes of women.

And it certainly has absolutely nothing to do with women’s own inclinations.

Right?

Well, explain this then.

In the Nordic countries, regarded universally as strongholds of gender equality, less women enter STEM than in Southern European countries or, for some fields, even Iran.

See, there is a paradox here.

A more equal and progressive society with more individual freedom does not necessarily lead to the kinds of distributions that feminists would hope.

And when these “ideal” distributions fail to materialize feminists always blame men. Directly or indirectly.

Because when families and society does not pressure women to seek higher paying STEM jobs, women often tend to follow their own inclinations towards other occupations.

Could this tendency have a partly biological foundation?

I believe so.

In in fact there is plenty of evidence to suggest it. Anecdotal and scientific.

Anyway, simply firing a man for advancing the possibility of explanations that differences are not all due to discrimination or stereotypes is simply — moronic.

And it’s evil, Google.

Don’t be evil, Google.

Don’t fire people for saying what in all likelihood is correct and true.

Don’t be evil.
