Okay once and for all: Colin Kaepernick doesn’t have a job because he took a knee, and that rubs huge portions of the country the wrong way. But if he was good enough of a football player, that off field baggage wouldn’t matter. Greg Hardy got another job after the Panthers released him. So did Mike Vick. Ben Roethlisberger and Jameis Winston are still employed because they’re good enough to overcome their off field issues.

If Colin Kaepernick didn’t cause controversy last year he would have a job. If Colin Kaepernick was better he would also have a job despite what he did last year. But he did and he’s not so he’s still unemployed. Case closed.
