Letter #45: How to wake yourself up from mediocrity
Johnson Kee

Gradual change over time seems to work for me too. I had a mini goal at the start of the year to wake up at 6AM everyday. So I gradually rolled back my alarm clock 5 minutes every day over a period of 24 days. By the end of the month I was getting up at 6AM without a problem.

After a years of trying to deconstruct and reverse engineer the life that I longed for, I’ve realized that, in the end, change simply comes down to desire. That’s the fuel. It’s the essence of action, which in turn, is the essence of change. In prior years, my comfort with mediocrity was stronger than my desire for change. Thankfully, I’ve turned that around some and life seems to be on a better track.

Thanks Johnson!
