Food
It’s not difficult to find several options of good quality meals from small family owned restaurant, with a exquisite unique flavors of the regional food, to refined international cuisine.
Among the pool of options, it’s important to highlight the pamonha — a cooked dough made with corn, cheese or sausage — and galinhada, a special dish made with rice, corn, and chicken.
Music & Culture
Goiás is the birthplace of several country music singers and the national culture can be seen represented in every place there. Every year Goiânia hosts an important and big agrobusiness festival — Expo Agro — where there are great opportunities to sell equipments and acknowledge new technologies applied to improve productivity.
At night there are big concerts of great national names of the country music arts.
Leisure
Throughout the whole city there are a lot of parks with extensive side walks and green area to exercise, meet friends or just relax. Not too far from downtown there is a good number of inns and fishing clubs. In the city centre we can find the most extensive mall of Latin America — Passeio das Águas Shopping Mall — also several night clubs, and the regional preference: the bars!
