You can follow along with the plans attached! Love to know your results

Todays date: 18th September, 2022

I’ve had some ups and downs this week. Trouble sleeping and work pressures have skewed my training slightly.

Here’s how my week looked:

Tuesday 13th Sept — Outdoor Run

Saturday 17th Sept — Outdoor Walk

Sunday 18th Sept — Functional Fun Day

If you’re not familiar how Fitain works: everything’s colour coded by its interest tags. Here’s what they mean:

I got a mix of endurance…

Tuesday — Outdoor Run | Endurance

Hands down, smashed this one! Beat my average pace and got quicker compared to last week. Extremely happy with this!!

Saturday — Evening Walk | Endurance/Recovery

Was lovely — but nothing to talk about. My time increased but calories and distance decreased.

Sunday — BurnIt Bootcamp | Endurance

Started with a run and quick core routine before the session.

I’m please to report:

Road to 10k | BurnIt Bootcamp — Leon Ward Results

Look at all those green arrows! Don’t know how I’ve done it - i’m flagging today…

It’s not logged but I did some mobility exercises to improve my knee strength. We filmed the poliquin step up and hands down, they’re great! I’m going to try do 3 sets of 12 after every session.

I finished off with a 10m treadmill run. Not my fastest pace due to my left calf, but happy overall.

In closing, my functional fitness has improved!! Somethings working — maybe a combination of functional with long periods of rest.

Function Bootcamp Plan i’m following:
