Well done. This is what you should have said the first time. Seems to me it is more useful to think of ourselves as imperfect than depraved. Imperfect and prone to sin, error, and exaggeration, which is why when we talk about this stuff even the best of us (Augustine, Calvin, and all the rest) never get it quite right.
