Lions Herded by Sheep/Sinking Giant
Feb. 7th between 12:00PM and 4:00AM
I — I’m on a breeding ranch or farm with two guys, who are the caretakers. There are numerous lions and sheep on the farm and I’m wearing a sweatshirt hoodie and yoga pants. I’m watching the sheep chase the lions around, realizing it’s the sheep that are herding the lions. One of the farmers makes a pass at me, commenting on how I wear my yoga pants. I’m repulsed. The lion farmers and I start drinking glasses of water from a pitcher in the dream and I wake up, thirsty.
II — I’m a giant and I’m looking down at the earth, mostly North American (Western states, Canada, some of Alaska). I see the landscape and I reach down to touch it. I can feel the water and the coldness of the Canada/Alaska area I’m touching. I decide it’s firm enough for me to sit on because I’m tired. When I sit down, I start sinking in the water and I get terrified at how deep the water actually is (how is the water so deep when I’m so big?); I try to grab for the landmasses to get myself back up. As I’m struggling to get out of the water, the ripples cause the landmasses to break and float away, like delicate pieces of wet, torn paper. I watch Texas (so neatly separated from the rest of the landmasses) float far away as the rest of the U.S. lands continue to ripple and fall apart.
